About us - Our passion, your adventure

For over 20 years we have travelled the world independently, planning every expedition from scratch. We have already visited more than 60 countries on several continents.

A few years ago we quit our jobs and set off with our two children on a year-long trip around the world. That is how we know from experience how to plan long, demanding journeys.

Southern Africa stole our hearts in particular. We crossed South Africa twice by car, and we got to know Namibia on a self-drive 4x4 trip. We also travelled with a roof tent in Australia.

Self Drive Stories was created to help Polish travellers discover Namibia by car - independently, safely and at their own pace.

We work in completely different fields day to day, so we do this mainly out of a passion for travel and a desire to share our experience.
